I help teams build and operate AI products, coding-agent infrastructure, and SvelteKit applications.

That can mean shipping a new workflow, building MCP tools and evals, or adding scope, validation, observability, and human-review controls to agent-assisted engineering. I work through OES Technology from Kent, UK, with clients in the UK and internationally.

Production AI products

I build product workflows that combine user interfaces, document and data processing, model calls, human review, audit trails, and the platform controls needed to operate them reliably.

This is product engineering, not a prompt demo. I can work across the SvelteKit interface, service boundaries, agent execution, evals, observability, deployment, and release checks.

Coding-agent infrastructure

I help engineering teams use coding agents without lowering their standards. My work covers enforceable task scope, deterministic validation, LSP tooling, session recall, MCP integration, secret-safe execution, evals, telemetry, and human review.

I use these systems in real repositories and publish the evidence, including coding-agent harnesses with my-pi, preventing agent drift, and building a SQLite context sidecar.

Svelte and SvelteKit engineering

I’ve worked with Svelte and SvelteKit for 5 years and am a recognised Svelte Ambassador. I can help with product architecture, Svelte 5 migrations, large codebases, testing, accessibility, performance, shared UI systems, and developer experience.

Technical leadership

I previously led 12 developers across two product teams building AI customer-service software in a large SvelteKit monorepo. I can lead a project, work alongside an existing team, establish delivery controls, or take ownership of a difficult technical area.

How I work

I prefer long-term relationships where I can understand the product, ship useful work, and stay involved as it reaches production. Focused audits, prototypes, workshops, and short delivery projects can also be a good starting point.

Workshops

I run practical workshops on Svelte, SvelteKit, AI integration, coding-agent workflows, MCP tools, and modern developer tooling. They can be adapted for teams with different experience levels and use real examples rather than a slide deck full of theory.

Speaking and video

I’ve delivered talks and workshops at CityJS, Connect.Tech, JSNation, Jamstack Conf, Svelte Society London, and other community events. I can also create focused technical videos, demos, and code walkthroughs for developer audiences.

Technical writing

I’ve published more than 240 practical articles at scottspence.com. Site analytics recorded more than 2.1 million page views by August 2026. Current topics include coding agents, MCP tools, SvelteKit, SQLite, testing, security, and developer experience.

I can write tutorials, integration guides, launch content, and engineering explainers that use the product and show the work rather than repeating the marketing page.
